This newly created role is for a Community, Marketing & Communications Innovator (CMCI) to excel in this medium-size Christian School. The unified team of 65 staff, understands the importance of education in the life of every child, from pre-primary Early Learning through to Primary education. Current enrolments total 540 children and growing. The ‘we’ approach displayed between staff, students, and families, supports a culture of continuous improvements for all stakeholders. The open and agile learning environment is empowering young creators and innovators.

This professional is brilliant in attitude, innovative, creative, strategic, savvy-minded, personable, and a fabulous communicator. The role seeks a dynamic leader who thrives in community engagements, research, branding, marketing, and communications. An ability to inspire, draw and engage staff, parents, students, local business, local community volunteers to support the cause, values, culture, and vision of the School. Upon achieving the specific targets, celebration events are organised with the local community.

The CMCI reports to the Principal and is also responsible for the research and development of a strategic 3-year Community, Marketing & Communications Plan with effective marketing projects, solutions and measurable outcomes. This marketing genius has the scope to take ownership of this role. The creativity to conduct effective research; develop marketing ideas; coordinate, launch and track marketing campaigns, and provide post-marketing analysis results. This also includes developing and coordinating both online and offline marketing activities. This digital marketing guru can produce attractive digital promotional graphic materials for online platforms.  Website design and maintenance skills, photography, short video production and editing skills are an advantage.

Fore-sighted to meet emerging market trends, respond, and attract new School enrolments and achieve retention targets. Part of this role will include the coordination of the School programs and events that support School enrolment targets, the Principal’s tours, school visits, public appearances, and orientation days. Monthly reporting will need to be submitted to the Principal, Business Director, School Board, Directors, and other key stakeholders.

The successful candidate is an exemplary representative of the Principal and School. An intuitive professional, who is an excellent engager of people, and coordinator of community events and group activities. The role will also provide logistical, administrative, and functional support for events, and small meetings. The ability to cultivate positive relationships across all levels and cultures, from within and external to the School, is vital.

Relevant tertiary qualifications in Media, Marketing and Communications, or proven demonstrable experience are essential. Also, advanced computer literacy in a range of applications including Adobe Creative Suite, InDesign or similar publishing programs is crucial.
